Description

WestStar Bank offers personal and business banking products and services. The bank offers small business, commercial, and non-profit simply checking accounts; business savings accounts; business/revolving lines of credit, including accounts receivable, inventory, and unsecured working capital; business term loans for real estate, equipment, and vehicles; small business administration loans; and commercial real estate loans for construction, purchase/refinance mortgage, and land development. The bank also provides letters of credit and export/import bank financing services; wire transfers, collections, cashier's checks, travelers checks, domestic and foreign exchanges, vault services, and debit card replacement services; net and mobile banking, MyMoney center, cash manager, merchant, and remote deposit capture services; and E-statements, MasterCard check cards, and business credit cards. In addition, it offers checking accounts; personal, simply, youth, and money market savings accounts; individual retirement and rollover accounts; Coverdell education savings; personal e-banking services, including personal credit cards; automobile, recreational vehicle, home equity and improvement, overdraft protection, debt consolidation, certificate of deposit secured, and unsecured loans; and residential lending services, including residential construction loans. Further, the bank provides wealth management, and professional and executive services; premier banking services for professional or high-net worth individuals; and investment brokerage, personal trust administration, estate administration and settlement, agency and custody, estate planning consultation, and portfolio management services. WestStar Bank was formerly known as Bank of the West and changed its name to WestStar Bank in February 2012. The bank was founded in 1990 and is based in El Paso, Texas. WestStar Bank operates as a subsidiary of Delaware West Financial, Inc.
