It operates through four segments: Banking Services; Advisory Services; Investment Management Services; and Management of Non-Financial Assets Held for Sale and Investments in Real Estate. The company offers savings accounts and term deposits; and overdrafts, mortgage loans, long-term and short-term commercial loans, trade finance, and financing against pledge of investment portfolio. It also provides long-term investment bonds; mutual funds; asset management services, including direct investments in private capital and individual asset management; brokerage services; electronic trade services; and financial instruments custody and record-keeping services, as well as settlement under financial instruments transactions. In addition, the company offers settlement and cash services, which include payments, account balance maintenance, currency exchange, regular payments, checks, and other services; payment cards; remote account management services; documentary letters of credit and collection, bank guarantees, and escrow accounts; fiduciary transactions; and safe deposit boxes. Further, it provides advisory services in relation to asset protection, charitable foundations, and commercial companies; legal, tax, and administrative advisory services; and consulting and medical services. Additionally, it is involved in real estate transactions, agriculture, and electricity generation businesses. The company was formerly known as AS Aizkraukles banka and changed its name to ABLV Bank, AS in May 2011. ABLV Bank, AS was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Riga, Latvia.
